The limo ride there he spent most of the time quite while his youngest daughter spent her time chatting to her socialite friends on the phone. At least here he didn't have to worry about sending his eldest to make sure that no-one tried to ask for Sahlah's hand when he was tehre to personally put them off

Zafirah in a social situation was a disaster waiting to happen anyway, her short fuse didn't stand for most of the verbal warring at these things.

Sahlah ahppily walked beside him once they arrived, making their way up the impressive skyscraper to the function room where the auction was to take place. Made of the finest materials, finely carved marble pillars and the like the room was something to behold. The many sparkling jewels in their glass cases just added to the splendour.

Nikokoi winced a little until his eyes adjusted to the randomly twinkling lights in the room. Although he was of course dressed to perfection in his black suit, tie and shirt with a ruby tie stud, he still for some reason felt out of place. None the less, he still cooly kept his distance and let Sahlah look at the pretties on display

Like most teenage girls she was susceptible to jewellry and happily pointed out the best to her father before she spotted some of her friends and left his side to go chat.

A sheet f blonde hair fell over a gracefully sloping shoulder as a figure in a pale blue dress gazed interestedly over one of the cases, a sim hand resting gently on the glass.

Nikokoi merely rolled his eyes at his youngest daughters attempts to interest him int he fine wrold of jewellery. Really, he could not muster any sort of appreciation for a lot of sparkly stones and as soon as his daughter disappeared, he approached a cabinate that housed a large ornate necklace with a stunning pale blue Persian diamond as it's centrepiece

"I do not see the point" He murmered to himself as he leaned closer to look at the item
